This course introduces students to risk management
that covers the concepts and the types of risks. It also covers the risk
management framework and processes including risk identification and risk controlling
techniques such avoidance, reduction, transfer and retention. This course also
discusses extensively the methods of risk financing and risk transfer including
takaful / insurance. The course discusses the methods of risk management of
property, liability, crime, safety and health risk.
