The course studies the law applicable to non-Muslim marriages in Malaysia. Topics include betrothal and breach of promise to marry, customary marriages, inter-religious marriage, solemnization and registration of marriage, effect of marriage on status and property, void and voidable marriages, custody, maintenance, legitimacy and adoption.
